Things to ponder over before taking up CA classes

Updated: Nov 22, 2021

The Online v/s Offline battle – After the worldwide impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the Tier-1 teachers have rolled out their pendrives, google drives and live at home classes which, we believe, are perfect alternatives to Face to Face classes.

However, once this pandemic ceases, you can consider taking Satellite classes or even Face to Face classes from the distinguished teachers of the industry if the travelling time in total does not exceed 30 minutes.

After Service Support - Make sure that the doubt solving system provided by the concerned teacher is strong enough to solve your problems since classes through virtual mode lack a robust system for resolving your question marks.

Also, check if the teacher is active on Youtube and provides revision classes along with the applicable amendments as the CA Course is dynamic and rapidly changing.

Credibility and reliability of the Teacher - Do your homework beforehand. Consult your friends, who are also pursuing CA, about the teacher. There are some teachers who teach the concepts wrong and even leave important topics of the syllabus.

Go for a person who is full time into teaching as they are fully equipped. Part Time teachers may not be well updated and may take a break in between classes if their firm requires extra work from them during the season months.

Always take demo classes from the teachers before joining the classes. Check if you are comfortable with their accent, language, way of teaching etc.

Check if the teachers cover all the questions and topics of ICAI Study Material, Revision Test Papers, Mock Tests and Past year questions as they are a key to your four letter mission - "PASS"!
