MCS and Advanced IT Training




In modern times, you need to be well-acquainted with with Information Technology regardless of your career choice and future plans. Not only that, you need to interact with a lot of people which is why you have to develop soft skills.


Considering this, ICAI has introduced two courses during CA Journey

  • Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS)

  • Advanced Integrated Course of Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)


MCS and Advanced training lasts four weeks. You will have to complete AICITSS during the last two years of your practical training but before appearing for the CA Final.

AICITSS : Registration

Log in at any of the two online portals:


Once you log in, ensure that you follow the following steps:

  • Register in a particular batch launched by the POU.

  • Make the required payment using either a credit or debit card

  • After registration, take a printout of the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

  • Submit the acknowledgment slip and other documents mentioned in it to the concerned POU at least two days before commencement of the batch.

  • After verification, the concerned POU will confirm registration via email

  • You will be provided with all the required information by email.


Both courses are scheduled for a minimum of 6 hours per day for 15 working days.

The fee is Rs. 7500 per student. It is inclusive of refreshments and course materials.


Attendance Requirements and Dress Code

You will need to have at least 90% attendance. Otherwise, you will not be able to sit for the Final Exam.


Also, you are to adhere to a dress code while attending classes. You will have to be dressed formally. You will not be allowed to enter class wearing Jeans and T-shirts.


  • For male students, the advisory dress code is to wear full sleeve shirts and trousers.

  • For female students, appropriate attire would be sarees/salwar kurta /formal suit


Syallabus

To pass this course and get a certificate, you will need to maintain a minimum attendance record of 90%.

General Guidelines by ICAI

Students are required to complete the Course without discontinuity. However, in exceptional circumstances, the absence of students for a maximum of two days may be allowed by the Chairman/Secretary of the Organizing Centre.


A certificate shall not be issued to the student unless the student completes the course.

Students are required to maintain discipline and decorum apart from adhering to the dress code specified above.


For misbehavior/ nuisance in the class, the faculty will have the power to make a note and on the basis of which issue of Programme Completion Certificate may be withheld.


No cameras/ photographs are allowed in the sessions and uploaded on social networking sites.
